The monthly fee covers all your lessons for the months from the beginning of August through the end of June. I will not be teaching in July.

Make-up lessons and credits are not available for missed lessons, regardless of the reason for nonattendance. Families are welcome to contact each other to try to swap times (I will provide contact details as needed – please let me know if you prefer not to have your number given out), siblings, or parents are welcome to take the lesson time in cases where students have a time conflict. In the case of last-minute cancellation due to an emergency, I will try my best to offer a make-up time during that week or the week after. A lesson by Zoom or FaceTime is also an option. I appreciate students not coming to lessons when they are obviously not well, as this puts the health of my household at risk. Please note: availability of make-up lessons usually depends on the last-minute cancellation of others.

If you are ill, we have the option of doing an online lesson. If you are too ill to have a lesson, I will spend the lesson time creating materials and finding repertoire for you.

You are not entitled to make up lessons for the dates I’m not teaching, for example, during the winter and spring breaks.

The monthly tuition is due on the first day of each month. If I receive your payment after the 1st of the month I will charge you a late fee of $30.

         March 13-27 (Melinda away at a workshop)

         Spring Break April 8-11

         May 27, Memorial Day

         The Month of July (No Payment Due for July)

l RECITALS: I generally organize two recitals per year.

The recitals are usually  in December and May and are held here in the studio.

l BREAKS: If for some reason (sports activities, life has gotten just too busy) you need to take a break from lessons, I will do my best to fit you back into my schedule later, but I cannot guarantee you a space when you return.
